As a growing business, Pastaio A Mano was looking for an overhaul of its packaging in time for a major Supermarket debut in Selfridges.
Pastaio A Mano were looking to evolve onwards from their bagasse tray packaging in order to compete on the shelves of one of the most prestigious stores in the UK.
We prototyped and produced a custom crash lock base box design with a 5cm diameter viewing window for their delicious pasta.
As is always important to us and the customer, this was produced entirely using shelf-grade eco-friendly card stock.
Specialising in hand-crafted extruded pasta that is made to order in small batches, they use traditional techniques and carefully sourced ingredients.
Al of their pasta is naturally air-dried for 36 hours to preserve the nutrients of the grains and allow fermentation to take place, this gives the pasta its characteristic and unique flavour. It is packaged by hand then distributed to stores across London and nationwide.
